The sixth part of “The Chrome Lake” is entitled “Introspectrumental II” and is basically a guitar solo over a cycling keyboard backdrop. The intention here is to signal the end of trials and tribulations and convey a feeling of well-deserved release :
The writing of “The Dam” is progressing very well. The structure of the whole piece is all mapped out and parts 1 to 4 out of 8 are pretty much ready apart from some vocal melodies and lyrics. Part 5 still needs the something that will convince me of its merits, and the remaining three parts are only diamonds in the rough at this point.
