The sixth and last part of “Juggernaut” is entitled simply “Epilogue.” This instrumental piece is based on a single theme that is played in harmony by all the instrumentalists over various but similar chord progressions. The challenge here was to stack as many voices as possible while making sure that it could be played by the quintet. Here’s an excerpt :
“The Dam” is almost finished, some lyrics and vocal melodies still need to be worked on. The piece sets a new duration record for me, clocking in at 22 minutes, which leaves the preceding close-to-18 minutes mark established by “Juggernaut” far behind.
