“Prologue” is the title of the introduction to “Juggernaut.” It consists in a slow orchestral movement that features a complaintive melody and which culminates on a series of descending chromatic chords played by a string ensemble, or most probably a synth when we’ll play it live. The movement then segues into the “Barack Obama” synth riff, which was thus named because the syllables of his name fit the riff, and the suite was written during the week of his election, so I had him in mind frequently at the time.
Not quite certain yet, but I will probably take a short pause over the next few days, so don’t be surprised if the next Clip Of The Day takes a little more time than usual to appear here.
