COTD #92 : Ignorant, Verse, Chorus, and Bridge 30.03.2009

The middle third of “Ignorant” starts with the second verse which aims to convey the feeling of confusion and distrust that haunts the misguided. From the close-but-not-quite-right version of the lyrics :

Masquerading your confusion
Veiled the truth I needed to see
The answers your belief system
Can’t provide to anybody

Had faith in what you said, are you sure it is real ?
I can’t reach happiness please tell me what’s the deal ?
All that I seem to find adds more doubt to my mind
What am I doing wrong ? Have you lied all along ?

As the title of this post subtly hints to, the verse is followed by the first chorus and an instrumental bridge :
