Over the weekend I have begun gathering and sorting the various materials that will make up “Endeavours Over The Years”, the “Total Poligrafic Experience” (i.e. compilation CD-R containing a collection of audio & video files, photos, lyrics, artwork, MIDI sequences, and miscellaneous documents presented as a mini-website on a data disk – see The Packages page for details) dedicated to the evolution of Poligraf since its inception in February 1998, and that we offer with some of the packages. I’ve also begun writing the band’s history, which should appear pretty soon on The Story So Far page, in the The Last Few Years section, starting with the events that lead to the creation of the band.

Yesterday and today I myspaced some more, basically adding new friends and leaving comments on their profiles. The “Best Comment So Far” award goes without any doubt to Kaley Nelson (www.kaleynelson.com / Kaley Nelson Photography) with :

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds. Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.” – Patanjali

which is an excellent summary of my experience of this Poligraf-dedicated 2008 thus far. It also mirrors some of the insights of the Lankavatara Sutra that I’m currently reading, more precisely the bits hinting at wisdom coming from effecting self-realization rather than from reading philosophy.

One last thing : “Poligraf Takes The Microfunding Option” is the mi2n Editors’ Pick in the Web Events category today. Many thanks to the editors !
